thaddeus bookmyer

As a small business owner, Thaddeus Bookmyer understands that local currency is a good way to connect with people and create growth. He says the customers who’ve called him out of the trade directory “have been the best” and hopes to work with each of them again. "The best customer is one who calls you back," and Thaddeus makes every effort to build good relationships with every client.

Landing in the Gorge by way of Michigan and California, Thaddeus had a strong pull to the area from the start. He says he’s one to follow his first instinct and that it told him to move here. He bought a home on the Columbia River in Wishram and started his business of window, gutter and chimney cleaning. He also offers tree and yard cleanup, pressure washing, painting and hauling. Thaddeus enthusiastically proclaims that life has never been better.

With home projects as varied as building a tree house and a horse corral, it probably comes as no surprise that Bookmyer spends his RiverHOURS at the Rebuild-it Center. He also occupies his time landscaping, fishing, cooking, doing mosaic art and writing. He hopes to publish his own bestseller one day, though he hasn’t decided on a subject yet. Friends and family are also important, and Thaddeus loves spoiling his grand-niece, Maia, the apple of his eye, pictured with him above.
